  Bible and Mentally Challenged, what does it say.

  special olympics today here in los angeles, the smiles on those kids faces.. i wonder how were they viewed in jesus day, demon possessed.. it's strange how the bible omit some issues, like slavery and mentally challenged.

  i just heard this a few minutes ago by a jw friend who is still an elder in my old hall.

  the kingdom hall i used to attend and my mom still attends was paid off many years ago and serves about 6 congregations.

  one of the english congregations has a lot of financially well of members.

  for years i've been screwed with by some very bad people, people satan would kick out of his organization because even the devil might let up on evil just to allow someone to catch their breath.

  with the jwism's bad people move up while good people move down or leave the kingdom hall for good.

  i was talking with two elders who said "you know if you return to the kingdom hall, jehovah will bless you and these people will stop screwing with you.

  Many on this forum would recommend that you fade gradually attending less and less meetings as time passes. Hopefully the elders will ignore you as you disappear.

  JW ended a relationship with me

  my jw boyfriend just ended a year and a half relationship with me.

  it came out the blue and i'm deeply hurt by this because we were so compatible.

  he did it right before the big annual gathering he is presently attending.

  i have been searching pro and anti arguments for trinity, and found out there are anti-trinitarians who believe jesus did not preexist before his human life.

  and i am thinking, it kind of makes sense.

  what if yahweh created a second adam.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are Representative Christologists who believe that Jesus, although lesser than The Father, was granted full authority to act in his place (not that they follow the full implications of their doctrine).
  

  paradisebeauty: My personal opinion is that God created a new type of being that somehow can travel between earth ad heaven, Jesus was the first one and the other christians will be transformed in the same type of being at the rapture.

  What about the angels in Noah's time?

  Just prior to my disfellowshipping years ago I explained to an elder what my thoughts were. He compared the Witnesses to a barbeque grill full of coals where you have to be part of the fiery pile to continue shining (otherwise if you're separated you cool off). He was obviously giving me the "stay close to the organization" routine.

  I gave him my own explanation of how I saw God and his plan. I compared God to a light source, the Holy Spirit to the light itself and Jesus to a large diamond acting as a prism in breaking down the light into its colors.

  We humble humans were supposed to be pieces of dusty dirty coal that was to be compressed and transformed into diamonds through salvation. Thus a million and one diamonds were to sparkle in the light as opposed to the imperfect burning which represented our physical life.

  please i need a direct link to the watchtower online library and not a link that tells me to download, because i don't have any disc to download them.

  and leet and wifibandit sent some links in my thread but those links are asking for a flash drive or a disc and i don't have any of them.

  i wish anyone in the forum can send a direct link that when i click it i am going to start reading the past watchtowers and awake magazines immediately please.
